Today, we're going to the beach. The Husband doesn't know yet. I haven't told him. But, we are going. I've made up my mind. I'm thinking Carlsbad. Here's a post card picturing the flower fields that grow out there, I have no idea if they will be blooming today, or what we'll encounter, but we'll take pictures. The Husband is quite the photographer. Whatever you're doing on this glorious summer day, I hope you go outside and have FUN.

So glad that you're having so much fun! How I love the beach! I went to Carlsbad on a family vacation when I was 10. I still remember it as a lovely place.

No beach. Couldn't go cuz The Husband strained his back walking the dog and is in terrible pain. I am bound and determined to get to the beach. It's so hot right now, it's unbearable outside. I like to go outside.
Oh bummer to read you didn't make it after all. Hope your husband is ok though, that just bites! That postcard is really cool, it looks like the flowers are not real!
