Next week I get to have two crowns removed, side by side, because decay got under them. One tooth may need to have a root canal. Both teeth need work and new crowns. Can you say "Over $3,000 worth of dental work?" Can you say, "I love living with my dentist?" OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your picture is great. I think that is how most of us view a visit to the dentist. I hope you have had at least a little less trauma than the picture suggests and are feeling better soon.
If I could write with the same enthusiasm with which I fear the dentist, I'd have a blockbuster right now. Good luck. It's never as bad as we anticipate. Thank goodness! Linda
OMGosh gal, I have a phobia of goin' to the dentist anyway! I've been known to say that I'd rather birth a babe than sit in the dentist chair. I sure hope everything goes well for ya!

OH MAN! I HATE POSTING “ABOUT ME”, (no… seriously… I really do.)
I’M AN author, a designer, and a proud mother of five. I have FOUR grandsons, and a baby granddaughter.
INSPIRATION for my fiction comes from many sources: life experiences, (duh!), various individuals (young and old) that I have loved, hated, envied, supported, tolerated, respected, cherished, and observed through the years, as well as the many beautiful places and homes that I’ve visited, and the not-so-beautiful places and homes that I’ve visited, music, the great outdoors and the animal kingdom, to name a few. Growing older may endow a writer with insight, wisdom, and judiciousness, if the writer is willing to listen to the grand lessons and call upon all her strength to push her obstinate ego aside. Ideas come in sparks or bolts, while driving in the car, falling asleep, doing laundry, or staring at the blank computer screen.
I RESIDE in the wine country between Orange County and San Diego with my astonishingly artistic husband, (see blog design to affirm!), and three eternally loyal doggies.

I was recently there. I feel your pain.
Oh Elizabeth, you poor darling! I am sending happy sunshiny Florida wishes your way and hoping you have an easy procedure and fast recovery.
My brother in law is a dentist, a good one, and I'm still scared to death of him.
Thinking of you....
I can so relate. Hope that everything is going well and that you will feel better, soon, cher!
Make sure it's you who gets the laughing gas and not the dentist!
Yikes!! Hope you feel better soon.
Best thing I ever did was find an extremely good loking young dentist. It really does take your mind off things...
